Open-AU, also written as OpenAU or Open AU, is a planning and information platform for working holiday travellers in Australia.

We built Open-AU because public information about regional work is often fragmented across forums, social media posts, spreadsheets, and outdated public sources. Our goal is to organise that information into a clearer, easier-to-use resource.

What Open-AU Does

Open-AU provides:

• Regional location profiles based on public information, government sources, and community-indexed experience
• Astro, an AI-assisted geographic compatibility feature designed to help users explore regions that may suit their preferences
• Guides and educational content for regional planning and working holiday preparation

What Open-AU Does Not Do

Open-AU is not:

• A job board
• A recruitment agency
• An employment placement service
• A migration agent or visa advisory service
• A platform that guarantees job availability, visa outcomes, or employer suitability
